COMPLETION PROGRAM FOR THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE
 
Many students come to Florida Virtual College with course credits that they have received from other higher education institutions and want to use toward our B.S. degree. Some students who have an Associate's degree are able to finish their Junior and Senior year requirements in order to earn our Bachelor of Science degree. All course credits and degrees must of course be evaluated by our Registrar to determine their transferability into FVC .

In addition to the general education and core-curricular requirements for the major and elective requirements listed above, the following general requirements pertain to all bachelor's degrees:

  • Completion of a minimum of 120 credit hours.

  • Fulfillment of the requirements for the chosen major.

  • A minimum grade-point average, GPA of 2.00 (C) overall, and a minimum grade of “C” for any course to be applied to the academic major.

  • Earn at least 45 of these 120 credit hours in 300 to 400-level courses or above (upper-division) at FVC.

  • Earn the last 30 credit hours in the major courses as determined by our Registrar at FVC.

  • A maximum of 9 credit hours of electives courses.

  • A minimum of 60 credit hours earned after the Associate in Arts degree.

  • Fulfill all General Education Requirements.
